  • 9+ years of experience ( 3years Hands-on digital design, 1 year building other’s ventures,
    and 5+ years in building my own venture )

  • Cofounded Greenopia, a design-driven product company in the green architecture space. 

  • Built it from scratch to a multi-crore business in a market that did not exist.

  • Recent exit after a successful venture deal.

  • Designed and built India’s first crowdfunded IoT gardening kit.

  • Raised USD 20,000 via crowdfunding in India.

  • Designed and built all aspects of the product from mobile app, physical product, IoT electronics,
    AI for plants, in-house in a shoestring budget.

When a Global media company hired me to set up an experience design lab in India
  • During my stint in Crossworks (Subsidiary of WPP Media), I was specifically hired to set up an
    experiential design lab in India.

  • I was instrumental in building the experience design practice from setting up systems for creative technologies to hiring to pitching interaction design solutions to clients such as ITC, Nestle, Flipkart, IMAX, and the likes.

This was such a roller coaster ride for me and here is the detailed  case study of setting up Crossworks Labs.

As cofounder, I led a small team (3 members) to win the trust of these global brands on our products and services

  • Have been freelancing for many years in UX/UI design for digital products, with a select few loyal clients and their direct referrals only.

  • Also as part-time, I work as a UX strategist and Consultant for independent design studios such as Border&Fall and Jaaga DNA in Bangalore

  • After NID, for a brief period I was working in Toronto in a wearable design lab. It was an interdisciplinary design unit exploring humanistic aspects of wearables. I was the interaction designer in the team.

Things I do for fun, with design

I think, at times, we take ourselves way too seriously :)

And at those times, I go back to a project that I thoroughly enjoyed working on regain the balance! Meet POE, the playful interactive urinal.
