ProVac: Improve the accuracy and efficiency of the New-born vaccination process, globally

Background

Provac is an open-source initiative under the creative commons license, to create a meaningful design & technology intervention in the existing immunization & vaccine system across the globe. Increasing immunization efficiency is one of the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGC) of UN member nations for 2030. And this project improves the accuracy and efficiency for care givers and healthcare providers in urban centers across the globe.

My role in the project: It is a collaborative project with fellow designer Malvika Sainath. I jointly handled the end-to-end HCD design process right from UX research to the development of final solutions, all of which are visually narrated below.

Concluding Note:

Extension of this project is to apply the same research and assets to rural and other special contexts too. We will redesign the extent of use of technology in each of them. If you are a designer or a maker who is interested in collaborating with us in this project, drop us a line. Thank you
